The All powerful God | Genesis 15:1-21

Waiting on God isn’t easy. We pray, we hope, and we expect answers—yet sometimes the waiting stretches longer than we imagined. Genesis 15 shows us that waiting in faith doesn’t mean doing nothing. Instead, it’s about growing in faith, learning to trust God’s promises, and walking forward with confidence that His timing is always perfect.

So what does it mean to wait on God? How long do I wait for God? Is waiting in faith just an excuse for sitting still? Abraham’s story reminds us that waiting on God is active—it’s trusting His Word, choosing peace instead of fear, and believing His covenant even when life feels uncertain. Faith grows strong not by rushing ahead, but by resting in God’s faithfulness.

The good news is this: you *can* wait on God, and you’re not waiting alone. His promises never fail, His timing never misses, and His presence never leaves you. Be encouraged—waiting in faith is not wasted time. It’s the place where God shapes your heart, strengthens your trust, and prepares you for His blessing.
